Employer Engagement is one of the key themes that RSC London is giving particular importance to this year. Given the current economic climate, partnership and collaboration with business, community and enterprise to attain sustainable delivery in teaching and learning, is being identified across educational sectors as a strategic imperative for providers.
Technology is seen as a key enabler and accelerator for successful employer engagement, whether developed in-house using relevant skill sets that successfully formulate solutions to meet the varying needs and requirements around employer engagement, or commercially provided, off the shelf applications like Microsoft Dynamics.
To support the region, RSC London will continue to gather intelligence to form a knowledgebase on the developing relational picture between learning providers and employers, what technology is available and how it is being used to support exemplar instances of employer engagement.
Specific activities, including an online discussion, are planned on this theme during the summer term.
