The Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS), working with the Institute for Learning (IfL) as a lead partner on teaching and learning, are pleased to invite bids from providers across the learning and skills sector for its new Cascading Professional Development Fund. Approximately 500 small projects of £1,000 each are available to providers.
This new fund is for LSC funded providers who intend to run professional development or training sessions based on LSIS Teaching and Learning Programme resources or methodologies. The fund can be used flexibly, for example, for the release of staff time or venue costs.
This funding is only available in the following categories for change agents who have undertaken LSIS CPD training:
- Subject Learning Coaches (SLCs) (including those on the STEM programme);
- Professional Development Advisors (PDAs);
- Advanced Learning Coaches, Advanced PDAs or Advanced E-Guides.
Bids should be submitted by 7th January 2010.
