XERTE wins International Learning Impact Award

XerteCongratulations to the University of Nottingham who have been awarded the platinum award for Learning Impact Recognition at the IMS Global Learning Consortium in California.

The Learning Impact Awards (LIAs) are designed to recognise the impact of technology worldwide in support of learning and the University of Nottingham faced stiff competition with 27 finalists from around the world competing in this section.

The platinum trophy was awarded for their development and dissemination of Xerte Online Toolkits, an open source browser-based tool for creating rich and highly accessible e-learning materials.

JISC TechDis and the RSCs have long recognised the quality of Xerte and have been actively involved in supporting and promoting its use.
