JISC TechDis Xerte Friday subject-focused training

Message from JISC TechDis:

The JISC TechDis XerteFriday training programme takes place on the last Friday of every month (except in holiday times or Royal Weddings!). We get a wide range of attendees from UK and beyond – do join the eclectic mix!

The Xerte Friday sessions are designed to support teaching practitioners who want to embed the use of Xerte online toolkits in their teaching.

For 2011 we are experimenting with a subject focused programme to encourage more traditional staff to start on the Xerte Toolkits learning curve. Please forward to colleagues as appropriate.

January 28th –  Basic numeracy / functional skills.

February 25th – Statistics

March 25th – Basic literacy / functional skills

May 6th (NB this is the April session delayed on Royal Request..) – Psychology / sociology

May 27th    – Health and social care

June 24th –  Hair and beauty

September 30th – Biology / life sciences /agriculture October 28th – Earth sciences

November 25th – Modern languages
